The term kanban (kan-ban) literally means "signboard" in Japanese. In Japan, kanban was born within Toyota as a method to control and optimize production, but its logic has developed over time into various management systems, agile software development and then lean business.
Venture Kanban is a powerful framework of tools and methods to specifically manage the Venture Design workflow and Venture Building. For this scope we have developed and experimented a series of standard and customizable "components" to cover virtually all phases and areas of Venture.
Mind you: we are not only talking about the startup field - although it is an ideal context of use - but of any "new venture" both for-profit and non-profit, in micro-enterprises as well as in SMEs and in large public and private organizations.[ITA]
